In August 2000, we celebrated
the renovation, preservation and re-adaptive use of one of Dallas’ oldest
buildings into a performing arts center at the 90th Anniversary and Dedication of the Sara Ellen & Samuel
Weisfeld Center.
The Weisfeld Center is the former First Church
of Christ, Scientist. Downtown Dallas between Farmers Market and the
Convention Center behind City Hall at I-30. It is home to a historic 1911
Hook & Hastings Pipe Organ with 2,373 metal and wooden pipes.
